All waste management activities are subject to The Environmental Permitting Regulations 2007. Some activities may be exempt permitting, however, they still need registering and depending on what the activity is this process can be complex.
We offer the complete application service and will manage the process through to determination.
The Regulations require permit holders to be technically competent, we provide training and assesment for you to meet the required standards.
With activities being exempt permitting it is important that you seek our advice before commencing operations. We can make that application for you and offer guidance.
In April 2010 there are major changes to Exemptions to Permitting. Many operators compost, screen, crush and shred under exemption others build farm tracks, golf courses or raise farm land. Unless it is on a very small scale they will need to apply for a permit to continue that activity.
If you already have a registered exemption you will have a period of grace in which to get your permit. In most cases this will expire in April 2012.
We are ready to assist operators in making the transition to permitting.
